We come to the car, check it matches the photos, and you confirm the transfer has landed before we leave. We file the change of ownership the same day.
Type it into the box with the mileage, or open WhatsApp and send a photo of the number plate. Either way it lands in the same chat with Matthew. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and we hold nothing about you until then.
If the car is common and the photos are clear you get a number straight back. If not, you get two questions and a request for four photos: front three-quarter, rear, the dashboard with the mileage showing, and one of the interior. That's enough to price most vehicles without a visit.
The number is worked out from what the same model, year and mileage is actually selling for in Ireland right now, less what it costs to prepare and resell. It's sent in writing and it's valid for 7 days. If finance is outstanding we get the settlement figure and show you the split.
We come to the car, anywhere in Ireland. It takes about 20 minutes: a walk round, a look underneath, a short drive if it's driveable. If the car matches the photos, the offer stands. If it doesn't, we tell you exactly what's different and what that does to the number, and you decide.
Bank transfer to your account while we're with you. You see it clear before the keys change hands. We complete the dealer section of the VRC, file the change of ownership the same day, and send you confirmation. No cash, no bank drafts, no "we'll sort it next week".
